Phase 1: Build a base
After researching how Z-hologram works, I learned that angel of the glass and the base will be 45 degrees, and the height of the screen will be get higher than pyramid style. Therefore, Z hologram show the images better than pyramid.
Phase 2: Sketch, Vectorize, build 3D model and 3D print the base
With the measurement of bentogram and the degree of Z hologram, I create a Ai file and build the model in Rhino. Here I have Z hologram
Phase 3: Dark / bright
I got some sample video on youtube to test. It works perfectly like how I want it, but the image just show better in dark and it’s barely see in bright. I wonder how I make it’s independence on lighting environment.
I realized that Z-hologram just only able to see only front side (as I mentioned last time), invisble from back, left and right sides.
💡 Bump! Black out all three sides will be good solution.
I build another U-shape black box to wrap around my hologram.
